Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Go to AppInventor and click "Create".

    If you don't have a Google account (gmail account, Google+ account etc) then you will have to create one, but don't worry, it is very easy and free. ,, Optionally, you can use the android emulator or create an application file and send to your phone. ,, When you click on them you can see their properties. ,, Feel free to try everything! ,,,,,,

  4. Step 4: AppInventor will welcome you and allow you to easily connect AppInventor to your android device or simulator.

  5. Step 5: To connect your phone to AppInventor it'll have to be on the same WiFi network or be plugged into the computer when you want to test the app.

  6. Step 6: Now click new project

  7. Step 7: and choose a name for the project.Note: Project name must be without spaces.

  8. Step 8: When you're in the editor you can choose between different elements in the application and drag them to the app.

  9. Step 9: To start coding you'll have to click the "Blocks" button in the top left.
