   If creating your own skin, you can use the website Miners Need Cool Shoes.

   Step 2: find a source to get your skin from.

   If on a website click the download button or if on Google images click 'Save image as...' and and save the template to a safe place such as pictures.
   
   With some websites you can upload the picture straight to Minecraft and follow the steps from there. , Log in and click change a skin.
