How to Gift an App

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Go to the home screen on your iPhone.

   Then, tap the App Store icon.

   Step 2: Tap the search button on the bottom tool bar.

   Search for the App you'd like to gift. , This button is located in the upper right hand corner and looks like an arrow coming out of a rectangle. , Note that this icon will only appear for apps that cost money—you cannot gift free apps. , Write your email, the recipient's email, and a note if you'd like. , If you have bought the gift in advance, you can choose a later date for it to be delivered.
   
   You can also choose the "now" option if you want the app to be delivered immediately. , You can personalize the email by choosing from the provided themes. , Once you have finished, confirm your payment and hit "Buy Gift" in the upper right corner.
