  1. Step 1: Visit the TreasuryDirect homepage in your web browser.

    Most will start with a number. , It doesn't matter if you type it in with or without the hyphens.

    What does matter, is that the numerical (number) portion is correct. ,,, This is a one-time use verification of a secure computer.

    You will never need this password again, after you have entered it. ,, Don't use your keyboard.

  2. Step 2: Click the Login button below in the tab on the right hand side of the page titled "Account Login".

  3. Step 3: Click the link that explains whether your account number starts with an alphanumeric (letter) or a number.

  4. Step 4: Click and type into the Account Number box your account number for your account.

  5. Step 5: Click the "Submit" button when done entering.

  6. Step 6: Wait for

  7. Step 7: yet another

  8. Step 8: one-time use password in another email.

  9. Step 9: Copy and paste this password into the "Enter this OTP" box.

  10. Step 10: Click the "Submit" button when done entering.

  11. Step 11: Type your password into the "Password" box using ONLY the on-screen keyboard the TreasuryDirect system provides you with.

  12. Step 12: Click the "Submit" button in the lower left-hand corner.
