How to Put a Link in an Email
Open your Gmail account., Click Compose., Enter your email's information., Select the hyperlink text., Click the "Insert link" icon., Type in your URL., Click OK.

Step 1: Open your Gmail account.
If you're already logged into Gmail, doing so will open your inbox.
If you aren't logged into Gmail, enter your email address and password and click Sign in. -
Step 2: Click Compose.
It's in the top-left corner of the page.
Doing so will open a window on the right side of the page in which you can compose your email. , This will include a recipient's email address in the "To" field, a subject in the "Subject" field (optional), and the email's body text in the area below the "Subject" field. , Click and drag your cursor across the text in the body that you wish to turn into a link.
Doing this will highlight the text. , It's the chain image at the bottom of the "New Message" window. , You'll enter the URL in the "URL" field that's below the field with your highlighted text in it. , It's in the bottom-left corner of the window.
Doing so will link the URL to your selected text.
When you send your email and the recipient opens it, they'll be able to click the linked text to open the website. -
Step 3: Enter your email's information.
