  1. Step 1: Download the Dropbox Desktop application on every computer you wish to sync files with by going to the Dropbox Download page.

    Note:
    The desktop application is currently available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

    Log in using your account information or select the “I don’t have a Dropbox Account” and follow the onscreen instructions to create one when prompted during the installation.

    After you’ve installed the application, a folder called “Dropbox” will be added to your hard drive.
  2. Step 2: Add files to the Dropbox folder on your hard drive via any computer you’ve installed the desktop application to.

    , Dropbox will automatically sync your files between all Dropbox folders on the associated computers.
  3. Step 3: Log in to the Dropbox desktop application on any other computer using the same login/account info.
