Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Enable the "Tweet with your location" feature.

    Tweeting with your location is disabled by default and you need to activate it.

    Go to your account settings.

    Check "Add location to my tweets".
  2. Step 2: Click the crosshair icon located below the tweet update box.

    It will be on the lower left side.

    If you are using Firefox, it will ask to let Firefox "remember your location". , Click "save location". , It should now be showing., This turns off the location on a per-tweet basis.

    If you want it to show again, simply click the crosshair again, and it will restore on a per-tweet basis.
  3. Step 3: Check the "remember for this site" box.
