Step 1: Keep all your used dryer sheets and cut them in half.
Do not use unused ones because they will still have oil in them and that will stain the pages. -
Step 2: Take the book and open it up close to the cover.
Don't do this too close, though.
Put one of the halves of the dryer sheet there.
Then open the book up close to the end, but not too close ,and put the other half there. ,,, If they don't smell better yet, change the sheets and leave them a bit longer like four days. , Make sure they won't get damp anymore. -
Step 3: Close the book and put it in either a zipper baggy or a cheap trash bag and seal it up after putting all the books that you have "cleaned" in it.

Step 4: Leave the books sealed up undisturbed for about two days.

Step 5: Open the bag up and check the books out.

Step 7: take the sheets out and put them back on the shelf.
