Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Draw a long and thin rectangle with a smaller triangle on top and a large oval underneath to start of with.

    These shapes will be the base and will be rubbed out later. , Then draw a curve coming in towards the triangle and a curve coming out from the triangle.

    Repeat on the other side. ,, Then add more lines underneath. , Then draw 2 dots next to each other, 1 small 1 big and draw more lines and another 2 small curves on either side. , Draw a straight line underneath it and finally draw 2 more holes (1 big 1 small).

    Congratulations! You have finished drawing a recorder; now you can colour it in how ever you like!
  2. Step 2: Draw a small straight line on the point of the small triangle.

  3. Step 3: Erase the triangle and add a smaller rectangle with a large curve underneath the shape and add the detail.

  4. Step 4: Draw another couple of curves near 1/4 of the way down.

  5. Step 5: Draw 5 dots along the recorder

  6. Step 6: giving about 2 cm space in between.

  7. Step 7: Erase the large circle and add another 2 curves on either side (but a little bit sharper).
