Only add sufficient water to soften. ,, Cover and keep aside in a warm place for about 3 hours. , Take a big lemon-sized ball of dough and roll it on a flat, lightly floured-surface.
Aim for the teardrop/pear shape.
It should not be too thin nor too thick, ideally less than 1⁄4 inch (0.6 cm) in thickness. , When the griddle is hot enough, put the rolled naan on it.
When bubbles form on the naan, turn it over and cook on the other side as well. , Immediately apply butter or ghee all over the naan. , Serve it hot with any gravy-based Indian side dish. -
