Bring the water to a simmer and then place a bowl over the saucepan (double boiling).
Add the chopped dark chocolate to the bowl and stir until it completely melts.
Remove from the heat after it's melted.
Microwaving the chocolate is also an option.
Place it in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time and stir before placing it back in. , Mix everything together and then add the chocolate chips to the bowl.
