Step 1: Turn on your PlayStation Vita.
Hold the power button for about 3 seconds.
The PlayStation logo should appear on screen. -
Step 2: Swipe across your Vita's screen as directed to access the home screen.
If your Vita is brand new, complete the first-time system setup and tutorial as directed on screen before continuing., (By default, the Settings icon is on the second page from the top.),,,, You will be prompted for your wireless network's password.
Enter it, then tap green 'enter' key in lower-right of screen to proceed., You should now be connected to your wireless network. -
