How to View Chat Histories on Lync on iOS
Launch Lync., Sign in., Browse through your chats., Select one to view., Read through the exchange., Continue the IM.
Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Launch Lync.
Tap on the the app’s icon to launch it. -
Step 2: Sign in.
Sign in using your username and password.
This is the same ones you use when you’re signing into Lync from your PC. , Tap "Chats" on the bottom menu.
You will see all the chat histories from the IMs made from your mobile device. , To see the messages inside the IMs, tap on the chat history and it will show you the exchange of messages between you and the other party. , Scroll up and down to read through the exchange of messages. , If you want to talk with the other person again, you can do it right away without leaving the chat history.
Just type in your new message at the bottom chat window.
Once you tap "Send," your new message will be sent and a new connection will be made. -
Step 3: Browse through your chats.

Step 4: Select one to view.

Step 5: Read through the exchange.
